Since Medicare Supplement plan eligibility and pricing is largely dependent on where you live and your health status, we gathered data specific to an urban, suburban and rural location in Texas to show how plan availability and monthly premium rates can vary. We also independently searched for quotes for 65-year-old men and women, both smokers and nonsmokers, to further demonstrate how premium prices can vary across all plan types.

Medicare Supplement Plan F Prices in Texas
Over 50 Medigap Plan F options are offered across 39 insurance providers in the state of Texas, with availability and monthly premium rates depending on an individual’s location, age, sex and health status.
Despite its popularity, Medigap Plan F is no longer available to anyone signing up for Medicare for the first time. However, those who were eligible for Medicare on or before Jan. 1, 2020, can still sign up for Plan F. People who already had or were covered by Plan F before Jan. 1, 2020, are also able to keep their plan.

Ten high-deductible Medigap Plan F options are offered across seven insurance providers in the state of Texas, with availability and monthly premium rates depending on an individual’s location, age, sex and health status.
Similar to standard Medigap Plan F, high-deductible Plan F is no longer available to anyone signing up for Medicare for the first time.
